Proclamations were presented to us from the City of Newark and the City Council. We were hosted by President Council
woman Mildred Crump who was responsible for our entire weekend. Thank you Council woman Crump, your staff, and the City of

We had a lot of articles published in the Washington Post; Washington Times; Washington Informer; Howard University
Hillstop News Paper; and was interviewed on Exxum Satalite Radio; WHUR Radio; and Voice of America. We were interviewed outside
the White House by local TV, NBC news; all do to the help of Edith Billups of the Gabriel Group, who has been doing
fantastic promotional work for the Trail of Dreams World Peace Walk. None of this would be possible without the exceptional
work of Ombassa Sophera the International Co-ordinator for TDWPW. Thanks to everyone for making our stay in Washington DC
exceptional.
We are now in Virginia staying with the family of one of our members and have had a lot of R&R we are
